Jedidiah

…means “beloved of the LORD.”

We are Jedidiah.  We are beloved of the LORD.

We are two parents who never thought about the possibility of saying goodbye to our child until the unthinkable happened.  During a routine ultrasound our son was prenatally diagnosed with multiple heart and brain defects as well as a bilateral cleft palate and an extra digit on his hand.  Amniocentesis showed that Jedidiah’s defects were due to full trisomy 13.  We began a web journal to share our journey through the pregnancy, birth, and death of our son.

Now, we hope to put together a resource for other parents who are going through similar circumstances as well as continue to share the journey of our lives since being blessed with Jedidiah’s presence… a life so small and so short, yet so important.
